Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are said to have flown to Malaga on a private get after leaving Balmoral, Scotland, early.
The prince has been seen boarding a private jet at Aberdeen airport.
Then later their pair were rumoured to have landed at Malaga Airport together.
It was suspected the pair may have gone to the US after a picture of Sarah Ferguson there was posted this morning.
A source told The Sun: “The Duchess insisted she go on holiday with the Duke to look after him and show the world she stands by him.”
It is though the couple might be at a favourite summer home near Gibraltar. The house recently valued at £38 million, according to the Mail Online.
However, it was claimed the Duchess of York left early when her former father-in-law arrived, as an expert said the pair “are not known to have the best relationship.”
Sarah Ferguson was spotted at Aberdeen airport on Instagram looking ‘haunted’, a body language expert claimed.
She wrote: “Meeting the #duchessofyork @sarahferguson15 – she is delightful! Thank you for the invite @erniebochjr! Also ran into the legendary @steve_cooper_7.”
The image is geo-tagged to Norwood, Massachusetts. Could this be where Sarah and Andrew are holidaying?
Why don’t Prince Philip and Sarah Ferguson get along according to reports?
It is claimed that Prince Philip has never been able to move past the initial feud caused when Sarah and Andrew split up.
A number of unfortunate stories in the papers caused damage to the Royal Family’s reputation that Philip, in particular, cannot forgive, it is claimed.
Judi James told Express.co.uk: “Usually ebullient and positive, Sarah looks uncharacteristically serious and reflective in these poses, walking with her head leaning forward as though impatient to get to her destination and with an eye expression that makes her look almost haunted.
“In one shot her lips are sucked in, which is often associated with regret or unhappiness and in the other her mouth is partially open but not in a smile.”
In latest reports Sarah Ferguson and Andrew have reportedly gone on a romantic getaway together after leaving Balmoral.
Now, an image posted by a fan shows the Duchess posing at a garden party with Jaidann Thompson, a three times Emmy award-winning news anchor from the US.
The presenter stood next to the royal, who is wearing a blue dress with dangling diamond earrings.
These include the famous images that saw a still married Sarah having her feet kissed in her holiday villa in St Tropez by her financial advisor John Bryan.
Although the photographs were taken five months after Andrew and Sarah announced the split, it was still said to infuriate Prince Philip.
A source told the Daily Beast: “She always likes to say how he ‘rules the Royal family with a rod of iron’. They loathe each other, to put it frankly.”
Sarah and Andrew are still close despite their divorce over 20 years ago.
They are said to still live in the Royal Lodge in Windsor together.
